Compared with LCD projectors, DLP projectors do not have the problem of high temperature aging LCD panels. The life of DLP projectors is relatively extended, but improving the dustproof effect to maintain the imaging performance of the projector is still a project that requires full packaging. For example, it is quite learned in the key parts of the color wheel of the DLP projector.
DLP projector color wheel
is in a semi-closed position inside the projector. Even if the filter blocks most of the dust, a small part will still invade the inside, waiting for the opportunity to attach to the surface of the color wheel, which greatly reduces the imaging effect. In this case, even if the light source is normal, the rapid deterioration of the picture quality will cause difficulty in use.
There are three specific impacts:
1. Tiny dust particles will be entrained around the color wheel in high-speed operation. In addition to the electrostatic adsorption during operation, the white color wheel block will stick to the dust and cause the brightness to drop. The other color blocks will stick to the dust to gradually reduce the color;
2. After dust intrudes into the color wheel sensor, the motor operation is unstable, and then the picture shakes. The picture quality is poor for a long time, and the projector life is shortened immediately;
3. Dust enters the optical machine and adheres to the optical components, and bright spots appear on the screen.
Therefore, if DLP projector screen is to be brilliant, color wheel dust-proof technology should be paid attention to.
